CHAP authentication Problem

hallo allesamt,
mein problem: die ta hat uns ein speedtouch 510 mit isdn splitter verpasst, der zugang mit notebook xp funkt. ich möchte jedoch mit suse9.2 rein.
(mit isdn+modem hatte es vorher tadellos funktioniert).
mit adsl kommt immer diese fehlermeldung:

hab schon gegooglt, und hier im board versucht den fehler den ich mache zu kongretisieren aber ??

wie sehen deine /etc/ppp/options aus und deine /etc/ppp/pap-secres aus?
es wäre auch interessant zu wissen, was der pppd während des verbindungsaufbaus in die /var/log/messages schreibt

btw. http://www.gnustuff.com/pub/doc/adsl-ho ... howto.html ist zwar nicht suse yast konform, sollte unter suse jedoch genausogut funktionieren wie unter jeder anderen distribution

danke für die fixe antwort und danke für den link. hmm, hät ich selber draufkommen müssen. kann dir die gewünschten infos über /etc/ppp/options und /etc/ppp/pap-secres nicht geben da der rechner in meiner fa. steht. kann ich erst morgen einlesen. ich versuchs erst mal mit deinem howto sollte es nicht funken sag ich im board bescheid, möglich hatte noch jemand das prob gelöst und sagt mir wie.

hast du dir meinen Beitrag hier im Forum (in diesem Abschnitt) ADSL-Problem suse 9.2 Pro) schon angesehen. Vielleicht liegt das Problem bei dir auch in der Netzwerkkarte.
Die Konfiguration mit Yast ist auf Deutschland abgestimmt, falls du sie automatisch bei der Installation konfiguriert hast, dann die Konfiguration löschen u von Hand (geht auch mit Yast) einstellen.

ich habe dein howto gemacht, kein erfolg, immer noch die gleiche meldung. ich hab das howto von suse gemacht wie beschrieben, sollte alles über den yast funktionieren, hmmm denkste.

hmmm, es wär interessant, was mit der konfiguration lt. http://www.gnustuff.com/pub/doc/adsl-ho ... howto.html genau für fehlermeldungen in deiner /var/log/messages produziert werden, während du einen verbindungsaufbau (ebenfalls lt. dortiger beschreibung) versuchst, wäre ja gelacht wenn das nicht funktionieren würde

Auch wenn's mir niemand glaubt , das Problem ist meiner Meinung nach dieser Suse-Metapppd. Der mag ja was für D sein, hier scheint er mehr zu stören als zu nützen. Irgendwie wird der für die Einwahl mittels Kinternet-Steckersymbol benötigt. Wenn man den deinstalliert, den "normalen" pppd belässt, dann klappt die Einwahl nach den Anleitung von Manuel Capellari wieder anstandslos.

erich, versuchs mal so wie von felis in http://xDSL.at/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=30389 beschrieben, mangels aktueller suse installation kann ich hier nicht ganz nachvollziehen warum es nicht funktionieren soll
