kennt zufällig jemand die Symbol Spectrum24 LA4121
(alter aber zuverlässiger 802.11b AP)
Ich habe ein WLAN damit laufen und möchte das die SSID nicht gleich jedem auf die Nase gebunden wird, im AP gibt es eine Funktion die wie folgt im Manual steht:
Accept Broadcast ESSID
Allows the AP to respond to any station sending
probe packets with the industry-standard broadcast
ESS. If Enabled, this feature allows industry-standard
devices interoperability. The AP probe response
includes the ESS and information about the network.
By default, this feature is Enabled and the AP
responds only to stations that know the ESSID. This
helps preserve network security. MUs require using
Broadcast ESS to use this function.
Ich kann die Funktion enablen oder disablen, trotzdem ist die SSID immer sichtbar
